• ​​Complete online Miss America Registration (Must be completed before your first local of the season)

  • Complete the online registration and pay your $49.99 fee to officially be a member of the Miss America Opportunity.

  • Follow the prompts and directions that you will receive via the MAO WELCOME EMAIL in order to complete the DELEGATE CONTRACT

    • DO NOT STOP ONCE YOU BEGIN -- you must finish the process. Make sure you are using the SAME EMAIL and contact information throughout the entire process. This is especially important for teens/parents. Failure to follow this process will result in broken link errors that will have to be corrected by the MAO.​

    • ​​Please send a copy of your registration and contract confirmation to misscardinalin@gmail.com

  • Follow the link in the Welcome Email to "Register for a Local" and register for the Miss Cardinal pageant.

• Complete the required American Heart Association (AHA) registration and fundraising

  • Once the contract is signed and submitted, you will receive another email with a unique link to complete your SpotFund registration for the American Heart Association.

    • All contestants are required to raise a minimum of $30 per local for the AHA. 

      • Note: If you have already created an AHA SpotFund account, you do not need to create a new one; simply create a profile for Miss Cardinal and raise $30 for this local program

• Complete the Miss Cardinal/Miss Cardinal's Teen - Registration Form

  • Submit the following via email to misscardinalin@gmail.com

      • 200 word (max!) PDF Community Service Initiative (CSI) Statement - file format name example: JessicaSmithCSI.pdf

    • Community Service Initiative Statement Instructions

      • Note: These are the instructions for the one page version (State level). The instructions are the same for the local level, but only 200 words maximum.

    • Music accompaniment track (if applicable) - file name format example: JessicaSmithMusic.mp3

    • Headshot (MUST BE A JPEG FILE!) - file name format example: JessicaSmithHeadshot.jpg

    • Complete (sign and date) the ​Miss Cardinal/Miss Cardinal's Teen Guidelines for Year of Service​​

• Pay your Miss Cardinal/Miss Cardinal's Teen registration fee

  • Each contestant must pay a non-refundable $125 fee in order to be considered registered.

  • Please select "Friends and Family" as the payment designation, and include "Contestant Name-Cardinal Registration" in the note.

• Order your Rebel athletic outfit ASAP for the Health and Fitness portion of the competition

  • It is mandatory that all contestants wear Rebel athletic wear (Red Line) during the competition​
